Product Images & Descriptions
1st for Gifts makes every effort to provide an accurate image and description of all products. However, due to factors such as monitor screen resolution and display/colour settings some products may differ slightly when seen in person. All weights and measures are approximate. For this reason we accept that occasionally there may be a need to return the product. For details please read our Returns Policy.

Privacy Notice
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with
the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future. The type of information we will collect about you includes:
1.    your name
2.    address
3.    phone number
4.    email address
5.    product selections

All online payments are processed via PayPal in a totally secure environment. 1st for Gifts does not keep a record of your payment details at any stage of the online transaction. The contact details and information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete
or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. Your information will not be shared outside the EEA (European Economic Area).

Payment
We currently accept credit/debit card payments via PayPal, however we realise that some people are a little wary of giving such details over the internet in which case we will be more than happy to take your details over the telephone. Payment is also accepted by cheque (UK ONLY)

Prices are inclusive of VAT. We retain title to the goods until full settlement has been received.

Delivery
Delivery is £3.95 for all orders. We carry a large range of products in stock which are usually dispatched within 3 - 5 days. Non stock items and items that are made to order are normally dispatched within 1 - 2 weeks, however due to circumstances beyond our control this is not always possible. If this is the case we will inform you as soon as possible to give you the option of amending or cancelling your order. If your order is urgent or to check stock availability please telephone us on 01638 750868 and you will be advised if we can meet your requirements. Please note all goods will be sent Special or Recorded Delivery and will require a signature on delivery.

We are extremely happy to deliver our products to customers living outside the UK. Because of the wide range of delivery prices and times we strongly recommend customers contact us by phone or email to discuss their exact requirements and we will happily provide a detailed quotation for you.

Returns
We acknowledge that some purchases may not be as expected due to discrepancies between photographs on a computer monitor and how they look on arrival. Therefore, products purchased may be returned for a full refund if the following conditions are adhered to:
1.    The item(s) are returned in the condition they were received, including the boxes. All returns must be securely

      packaged and sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery. If the package is lost or stolen you are

      responsible for claiming compensation from the Royal Mail.
2.    Products are returned within 14 days of delivery.
3.    Payment has been cleared and previously authorised.
4.    Where your order was paid by credit/debit card a refund can only be issued to the card used to make the original

      purchase.
5.    Items damaged in delivery must be reported by phone or email within three working days.
6.    Earrings, soaps and food are excluded from the above due to hygiene reasons.
 
Please note we are only able to accept items that have not been worn, or altered. We will only replace identical products. If you wish to order additional items it will be treated as a new order.

Money Back Guarantee
If for whatever reason you are not happy with your purchase 1st for Gifts offer a 14 day money back guarantee on all purchases. We acknowledge that some purchases may not be as expected due to discrepancies between photographs on a computer monitor and how they look on arrival. Therefore, products purchased may be returned for a full refund if  the following conditions are adhered to:
1.    All returns must be returned with a completed returns form (please click here to print a copy.)
2.    Products are returned within 14 days of delivery.
3.    Payment has been cleared and previously authorised.
4.    The item(s) are returned in the condition they were received, including the boxes. All returns must be securely

      packaged and sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery. If the package is lost or stolen you are

      responsible for claiming compensation from the Royal Mail.
5.    All goods returned are at the senders expense unless faulty.
6.    Any free gifts you have received must also be returned or you will not receive your refund.
7.    Notification of faulty goods should be made by phone or email within three working days after the goods haven been

      received.
8.    Where your order was paid by credit/debit card a refund can only be issued to the card used to make the original

      purchase.
9.    Please Note items that 1st for Gifts considers to have been mistreated or damaged through wear and tear will not be

      replaced or refunded.
10.  All sales of earrings, soaps, and food are final due to reasons of hygiene, and returns are only accepted in the

      following cases:
     * If the Item is defective.
     * If the item I receive is not what has been purchased.
     * If multiple items are sent back for a refund we reserve the right to charge a 10% handling fee. Eg: if you order 3 items to

      see which one you like best you may be charged a restocking fee if you return the other two.
11.  If you do need to return any goods, please remember to wrap the package securely as it may not be possible to offer

      a refund or replacement on goods which are damaged during return transit. Mark your parcel clearly as "Returned

      Goods" and send it to the following address:

Ordering by Mistake
In the event that an item is ordered by mistake please inform us immediately by phone and email. If the item(s) has not been dispatched then a full refund will be given. However if item(s) has been dispatched then the Returns Policy applies.
